Server customizations
This server differs from a stock Wurm Unlimited serverin several ways. Below is a high-level summary of what is customized versus vanilla defaults.
Skill changes
- Skill gain rates are on a dynamic scale that starts high and decreases as your skill goes up. At skill level 90, it is roughly 3x faster than normal.
- Skill mastery increases the effectiveness of spells and max quality above 90, and even further above 99.
Meditation
- Meditation can be done without cooldown, an unlimited number of times per day.
- Time between questions is reduced by 80%.
- There is no minimum distance between meditation locations.
- Meditation tile restrictions are reduced.
- Meditation ability timers are shorter.
- Meditation paths get scaling rewards earlier, and get stronger over time.
Religion and priests
- Faith gain is increased by 3x, but you can only pray once per hour.
- Max faith/favor is increased to 200.
- There are no priest restrictions.
- Additional spells are available to all deities.
Farming
- Crop ticks happen every 8 hours.
- Farming actions can be done in an area-of-effect.
- Fields cannot overgrow into weeds.
- Planters allow growing crops and trees faster, and indoors.
- Magic mushrooms can be grown in planters!
Loot!
- Sacrificing rare items at an altar has a chance to provide a rare bone, which can transfer rarity to another item.
- Treasure maps can spawn as you mine, dig, hunt, fish, and cut down trees. They can be used to find hidden chests of loot protected by monsters.
- Vote daily for an additional 10 copper coins.
- Get rare minitature pets that don't participate in combat.
Combat
- Complete combat overhaul with increased variety and less dice-rolling.
- Killing monsters provides a bounty depending on it's combat rating.
- Burning corpses provides an additional bounty of money and karma.
- Custom unique raid-bosses drop very valuable loot!
- Taxidermy killed monsters to keep them as trophies.
- Soulsteal from unbutchered creatures to keep fires lit and pets fed.
